Emmaus Foundation-Uganda Ltd. (EF) is a non-profit/charity organization with its headquarters located in Mutungo-Luzira in Kampala Uganda. It was started by an Italian Catholic Missionary Rev.Father John Scalabrini (RIP) in 1989. The Foundation’s goal is to extend a helping hand, through availing life changing opportunities that purpose skill acquisition to promote, protect and stabilize the livelihoods of the grass root needy and poor Ugandans, though focus on education, health and social support for self-sustenance. As such EF, together with her partners Fondazione Italia Uganda Onlus (FIU) and Benedict Medical Center (BMC), work very hard to Carry-On the founder’s Vision.

Featured Projects and works
Before establishing all the other projects, Emmaus foundation started with a small carpentry workshop which was producing quality carpentry work for the community.
The works of this workshop supported the construction and establishment of bigger projects such as the Kindergartens, Secondary and Primary Schools, hospitals, other vocational works and all other projects.
