Emmaus Foundation-Uganda (EF) is a non-profit/charity organization with its headquarters located in Mutungo-Luzira in Kampala Uganda. It was started by an Italian Catholic Missionary Rev.Father John Scalabrini (RIP) in 1989. The Foundation’s organizational goal is to improve the livelihood of Ugandans by availing them with life changing opportunities in the key sectors of health, education, employment creation,vocational skills attainment, aid/charity and religion.The core aim of availing such immeasurable life chances, is to overcome situations of consistent provisions of daily needs to the poor, but to rather equip them with skills in the different fields to purposely promote and protect their self confidence/esteem, encourage self-sustainability and financial independence hence become useful citizens that positively contribute to their nation Uganda and the world.
EF realizes its Vision and Mission through partnership with Italia Uganda Onlus, a Charity Organization whose Mission and passion is to help raise relief for the needy in order to enable vulnerable children go to school, provide life saving treatments and health services to the poor and also provide charity among others. Special emphasis is put on the well being of vulnerable children in society.

Featured Projects and works
Before establishing all the other projects, Emmaus foundation started with a small carpentry workshop which was producing quality carpentry work for the community.
The works of this workshop supported the construction and establishment of bigger projects such as the Kindergartens, Secondary and Primary Schools, hospitals, other vocational works and all other projects.
